NHS 24 is a confidential telephone health advice and information service available across Scotland. NHS 24 works in partnership with local NHS Boards out-of-hours services to provide patients with health advice and help when GP practices are closed.

An internal communications strategy called the “Transformation Programme” was initiated to help NHS 24 communicate its direction and goals and to prompt feedback from staff needed branding and rolled out as a staff-centric initiative.
The “Transformation Programme” required numerous layers of branding as the programme has several sub sets of initiatives. Each project needed to have its own identity and clearly communicate its purpose and where it fitted into the overall transformation programme. The initiatives related to issues such as training, staff turnover and customer focus programmes and were communicated through seminars, posters and booklets.
